I have a great deal of experience in the selection and implementation of computer systems and have worked with mini and micro computers on a single and multi-user (networked) basis.
Projects I have undertaken range from reviewing existing systems through to researching the market for industry specific software. I have also carried out assignments in a wide range of industries, from employment and travel agencies to publishing and manufacturing.
With the advent of desk-top personnel computers many small or medium sized companies can no longer justify employing a full time company accountant, but nevertheless arrive at a stage where they need the help of a part-time accountant in addition to their in-house book-keeper(s) and external auditors.
I can serve as an in-house company accountant on a part-time basis and I am able to offer a wide range of services. For example, I have set up accounting departments in a number of companies, recruited the necessary staff and then implemented a complete accounting system which includes the supervision of the department on a regular basis.
Some clients also retain me for the generation of their monthly management accounts as well as the production of year-end accounts and liaison with their auditors during the annual audit.
As a qualified management accountant I also have a great deal of experience in costing, manufacturing and stock control systems.
I hold Directorships in a number of client companies. Some of my clients use my services as Company Secretary and as such I undertake all the routine statutory administration duties that this position entails.
